About ARO Drilling and the Role

ARO Drilling is seeking a qualified Crane Operator to join its operational team in Dammam. This full-time position is central to our material handling and lifting operations, requiring a commitment to safety and efficiency. Role Purpose

The primary purpose of the Crane Operator role is to execute all lifting operations in accordance with established safety standards and operational procedures. Key Responsibilities

• Operate cranes safely and efficiently to lift, move, and position materials and equipment as required.
• Conduct thorough pre-operational checks and routine inspections of crane machinery and lifting gear.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and relevant industry regulations during all lifting activities.
• Communicate effectively with ground personnel, riggers, and other team members to ensure coordinated and safe operations.
• Identify and report any mechanical issues, safety concerns, or potential hazards related to crane operation or equipment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Possession of a valid driving license is mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to operate various types of cranes safely and competently.
• Strong understanding of load charts, lifting plans, and standard hand signals.
• Commitment to safety protocols and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
