Front End Mechanic

About the Opportunity

Crown Holdings, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled Front End Mechanic to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role is critical for maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and equipment within our manufacturing facility. The primary objective is to ensure optimal operational efficiency and minimize downtime across production lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on various front-end production machinery, including presses, trimmers, flangers, and seaming machines.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues affecting production equipment and implement effective repairs.
• Troubleshoot complex machinery malfunctions to identify root causes and prevent reoccurrence.
• Execute precise adjustments and calibrations to ensure machinery operates according to specifications.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical components such as gears, bearings, shafts, and motors.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to assist in troubleshooting and repair tasks.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with production teams to proactively identify and address potential equipment issues.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies while performing duties.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Experience Requirements

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery, preferably within a manufacturing environment. This experience should include hands-on work with various mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Essential Qualifications

• Ability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as required by operational needs.
• Physical capability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various positions to perform maintenance and repair tasks effectively.
