Heavy Truck Driver

About the Role

Sabaq Resources is seeking a Heavy Truck Driver to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role involves the safe and efficient transportation of various loads, including containers, cargo, and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to all relevant regulations and company standards. The position requires 2-5 years of experience in heavy truck operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy trucks safely and efficiently, complying with company policies and traffic laws.
• Transport containers, cargo, and equipment to designated locations according to approved schedules.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Verify cargo details, container numbers, delivery instructions, and transport documentation before departure.
• Ensure proper cargo securing and compliance with load distribution and transportation requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and proof of delivery.
• Coordinate with customers, ports, terminals, warehouses, customs authorities, and relevant stakeholders.
• Report delays, accidents, incidents, breakdowns, or safety concerns promptly.
• Support loading, unloading, container pickup, and return activities when required.
• Comply with all HSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) requirements and company procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a Heavy Truck Driver.
• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience is required.
• Valid heavy vehicle driving license.

• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
