Ebara Elliott Energy is a company operating in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in a full-time capacity.

Role Overview

The Human Resources Generalist reports directly to the Regional HR Manager - EMA. This role is crucial for providing pragmatic, proactive, and business-focused HR services to our regional customer base. The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for employees and leaders at the assigned Dammam location, overseeing key HR operations such as recruitment, learning and development, and government reporting, while offering essential support to local Business Leaders and employees within the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Regional Human Resources Manager (HRM) in the recruitment of qualified talent, coordinating with HR service partners and hiring managers.
• Assist the HRM in the review and implementation of effective onboarding and induction programs for all new hires.
• Conduct initial registration, manage changes, and complete termination actions for all employee benefits in line with established policies.
• Collaborate with the HRM and Line Managers to encourage a learning culture through identifying training needs, processing requests, and maintaining accurate training plans and records.
• Participate in the development, implementation, maintenance, and clarification of HR policies and approaches.
• Ensure the accuracy of HRIS data by capturing all changes in the system timely.
• Lead various local committee meetings in line with statutory requirements.
• Work with Site Leaders to deliver employee engagement activities, including wellness programs, festival celebrations, and employee communication.
• Support the HRM in conducting workplace investigations.
• Assist Site Leaders in the annual performance management and compensation management processes.
• Act as the first line of contact for employee grievances, assisting managers in achieving effective solutions.
• Manage various contracts with vendors to ensure timely renewal of services, such as Time & Attendance systems, insurance, and training providers.
• Maintain up-to-date employee records in both digital and hard copy formats.
• Work with the HRM, Site Leaders, and local authorities to obtain necessary government approvals from the Department of Labour.
• Support Site Leaders in the management of the site's Business Continuity Plan (BCP) due to emergencies or government advisories.
• Participate in the provision of HR support across the region on HR-related matters in the absence of the HRM.
• Collaborate with the wider HR team on HR-related process and policy improvements.
• Participate in other regional or global HR projects and requests, including process improvement, wellness, health and safety initiatives, and additional activities as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a Human Resources role.

This role operates within a collaborative HR framework, working closely with the Regional HR Manager, Site Leaders, HR service partners, and local authorities. The Human Resources Generalist will engage with a diverse employee base and contribute to both regional and global HR initiatives, fostering a supportive and compliant workplace environment.
