The Role of IT Cybersecurity Administrator

The IT Cybersecurity Administrator is responsible for supporting the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of cybersecurity controls across the Company’s IT environment. This full-time position, based in the Eastern Region, is critical in protecting systems, networks, endpoints, and business information from evolving security threats. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor cybersecurity alerts, logs, and security events.
• Support the administration of endpoint security, EDR, and antivirus solutions.
• Assist in identifying, investigating, and responding to security incidents.
• Support vulnerability assessment and remediation activities.
• Assist with Identity and Access Management processes.
• Review user access privileges and support access control reviews.
• Support firewall and network security configurations.
• Monitor security compliance across IT infrastructure.
• Maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity requirements.
• Participate in cybersecurity awareness activities.
• Coordinate with IT teams and external technology providers.
• Support cybersecurity audits and assessments.
• Monitor emerging threats and recommend appropriate security measures.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in a relevant IT or cybersecurity role. A strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices is essential for this position.
