Machine Operator

About the Role

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time role involves operating a range of test rigs and performing assembly tasks across multiple areas to ensure maximum capacity and produce goods of the highest quality. The position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate machines according to established procedures and standard work instructions.
• Assemble and test all products within designated assembly cells.
• Continuously review and ensure all manufactured products meet established quality standards.
• Read and follow instructions on drawings, routings, and ISO procedures to meet time and quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment in line with the company’s 5S standard.
• Utilize all provided personal protective equipment and safety devices to ensure personal safety and prevent hazards to others.
• Cooperate fully with the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental programs.
• Ensure effective handover to the next shift, providing sufficient material and information for continuous manufacturing.
• Train other operators in machine use, safety equipment, and product as experience increases.
• Host witness inspections as required and actively contribute to problem-solving activities.
• Meet production targets in terms of both numbers and timescales.
• Demonstrate flexibility in moving between tasks and machines.
• Maintain premier housekeeping standards and actively participate in the 5S program.
• Maintain regular attendance and timekeeping.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions on drawings, routings, set-up sheets, and procedures, combined with product knowledge, to produce consistent quality parts.
• Reasonable literacy skills to understand and follow written instructions.
• Knowledge of auxiliary equipment such as laser etch, hard etch, PMI, and various test rigs.
• Ability to set and run all test rigs, including chart recording.
• Ability to work effectively with team members and demonstrate leadership when necessary.
• Training in product within the designated work area.
• Instrumentation product knowledge is considered an advantage.
