About the Role

Tabuk Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Operating Supervisor to join our production team in Dammam. This full-time position is integral to maintaining efficient and compliant manufacturing operations, requiring a professional with 2-5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.

Role Overview

The Operating Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and supporting various aspects of the production process, ensuring adherence to established procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols. This role involves direct operational engagement, material verification, equipment management, and comprehensive documentation to facilitate smooth production cycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor production instructions provided by the Production Officer, Production Supervisor, or Senior Production Supervisor.
• Verify the availability of all required packing POIs and related packaging materials before initiating any batch or product.
• Coordinate and arrange QA notifications, including the green release label, for completed production stages.
• Manage and arrange all relevant manufacturing POIs as per production schedules.
• Perform accurate calculation and segregation of tablets/capsules according to POI requirements for different consignees.
• Ensure the timely completion and meticulous documentation of area logbooks, POIs, and Work-In-Progress (WIP) logbooks.
• Oversee the proper return of packaging materials upon the completion of each batch.
• Promptly inform the Production Officer, Production Supervisor, or Senior Production Supervisor of any equipment breakdown or operational issue.
• Initiate and raise Job Orders for any maintenance requirements or in the event of equipment malfunction.
• Confirm the correctness and required quantities of tablet/capsule drums, foil/PVC, and other materials, verifying them before batch commencement.
• Raise requisition slips for any additional packaging material needs during production.
• Operate production machinery in the absence of the assigned machine operator or during periods of operator shortage.
• Provide relief to machine operators during their scheduled breaks as required.
• Assist machine operators during machine setting procedures and in resolving any operational problems that may arise.
• Verify the cleanliness and documentation of machinery in strict accordance with SOP-PRD-068 and SOP-PRD-032.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or operating supervisor role, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Proficiency in production documentation, material verification, and logbook management.
• Practical experience in operating production machinery and assisting with setup and troubleshooting.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based at Tabuk Pharmaceuticals' manufacturing facility located in Dammam. The role requires consistent presence and active participation in daily production operations.
