Operative Yard

About the Role

Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking a Yard Operative to join their team in Dammam. This full-time role is essential for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of the yard, involving various housekeeping, operational, and maintenance support tasks. The position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Duties and Tasks

• Ensure the proper housekeeping and cleanliness of the yard area.
• Remove explosive and non-conforming materials from scrap designated for transfer to NASCO/ASCO.
• Provide assistance with maintenance activities for shredder, shear, and workshop equipment.
• Perform cleaning duties in offices, buildings, and surrounding premises.
• Undertake other assigned tasks as required to support operations.

Safety Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to all safety instructions pertinent to assigned tasks.
• Report any damaged Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), unsafe machinery, or faulty equipment to the relevant staff.
• Maintain provided PPE in good, serviceable condition.
• Refrain from any horseplay or misuse of safety devices, equipment, and welfare facilities.
• Report all accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions to the responsible personnel.
• Participate in all scheduled safety training programs.
• Exercise the right to refuse any unsafe work.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 0-1 years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, focusing on operational support within the yard and surrounding facilities.
