About the Role

Broadway Global Services is seeking a Senior Health Safety & Environment (HSE) Trainer to join our team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is dedicated to leading our safety training division, focusing on the development and delivery of world-class safety education that adheres to rigorous international regulatory standards.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Senior HSE Trainer will be responsible for preparing professionals to effectively manage workplace risks across high-stakes industries. This involves ensuring that participants are equipped with the necessary technical proficiency and certifications required for global practice. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring students achieve the highest levels of competence and professional certification.

Core Responsibilities

• Curriculum Development: Design and refine instructional materials that align with international standards, including those from the International Labour Organization (ILO).
• Instructional Excellence: Lead high-impact training sessions across diverse sectors, covering Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) management.
• Exam Preparation: Conduct intensive workshops to ensure students are thoroughly prepared for rigorous standards from NEBOSH and IOSH.
• Professional Mentorship: Guide practitioners through work-based qualifications, such as the NVQ Level 6 Diploma.
• Safety Leadership: Mentor students on implementing practical tools for effective safety management within their respective teams.

Required Technical Specializations & Certifications

The Trainer must demonstrate mastery and provide instructional excellence for certifications within the following clusters, as defined in our official curriculum:

• NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health)
  • International General Certificate (IGC): Delivering the premier Level 3 qualification for managers and supervisors, focusing on ILO standards and international best practices.
  • International Diploma for OSH Management Professionals: Leading the flagship Level 6 qualification, equivalent to a bachelor's degree, for senior professionals.
  • Specialist Certificates: Providing focused instruction for high-risk industries including:
    • International Certificate in Construction Health and Safety.
    • International Technical Certificate in Oil and Gas Operational Safety.
    • HSE Certificate in Process Safety Management.
• IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health)
  • IOSH Managing Safely: Providing market-leading instruction for line managers in any sector to manage team safety.
  • IOSH Working Safely: Delivering an essential entry-level course on basic safety principles.
• Global Standards & Auditing Qualifications
  • ISO 45001 Lead Auditor: Training professionals to audit Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Certification: Providing comprehensive safety training recognized globally, particularly for projects managed by multinational firms.
  • NASP/IASP Certifications: Facilitating advanced credentials including Certified Safety Manager (CSM) and Master Safety Professional (MSP).
  • NVQ Level 6 Diploma: Mentoring practitioners through this work-based, degree-level credential using workplace evidence.

Candidate Qualifications

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in Health, Safety, and Environment training. A proven track record of delivering instructional excellence and ensuring students achieve high levels of competence and professional certification is required. Expertise in at least one of the specialized certification clusters listed above is mandatory.

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a professional training environment, contributing to the development of safety professionals across various high-stakes industries.
