About the Role

Siemens Energy is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel for its Grid Technology division. This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern Region, and involves providing legal counsel across the Middle East and internationally. The role focuses on supporting the energy transition through legal expertise in large-scale contracts, project delivery, and grid digitalization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor and manage legal matters and risks related to general commercial, trade, and contract law for Siemens Energy’s Grid Technology Business in the Middle East.
• Analyze and comment on tenders, contracts, and contract-related documents, providing proactive advice and participating in contract negotiations and strategy formulation.
• Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, processes, and external regulations.
• Support execution and claim management, including engaging and managing external law firms in dispute resolution proceedings.
• Contribute to the standardization and digitalization of contracts and process improvements, collaborating with the global Legal Counsel community.
• Develop and provide training and education to key stakeholders.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant legal experience.
