About the Role

Koch is seeking a Shop Estimator and Planning Engineer to join their team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time role is critical for delivering engineered-to-order projects by converting technical requirements into precise cost estimates, actionable production plans, and reliable delivery forecasts. The position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Role Contribution

The individual in this role will contribute to improving planning accuracy, resource utilization, schedule performance, and operational efficiency. This includes supporting safe and high-quality manufacturing execution, ultimately creating value for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Develop accurate estimates, labor forecasts, and execution strategies to support commercially sound project decisions.
Build and maintain production plans that align materials, resources, capacity, and project priorities for reliable delivery performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks, resolve constraints, and support successful project execution.
Drive visibility and accountability through schedule forecasting, progress tracking, and proactive recovery planning.
Support operational excellence by analyzing estimate and schedule performance, capturing lessons learned, and improving future accuracy.
Promote responsible stewardship by integrating safety, quality, and risk management considerations into planning activities.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve manufacturing performance.

Team and Collaboration

This role is part of a collaborative manufacturing and project execution team that supports engineered equipment projects from quotation through delivery. The Estimator and Planning Engineer will work closely with Engineering, Project Management, Production, Supply Chain, Quality, EHS, Finance, and Commercial teams. This collaboration aims to drive operational excellence, enhance customer value, and foster continuous improvement across the business.
