About the Role

Nestlé is seeking a dedicated SSHE Officer to join the team at Nestlé Waters KSA – Almanhal Water Factory in Riyadh Second Industrial Area. This is a full-time position focused on maintaining a safe, healthy, and comfortable working environment in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of the SSHE Officer is to uphold an effective Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) framework. This involves ensuring strict adherence to Nestlé's policies and standards to foster a secure and comfortable workplace for all employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement all EHS policies and procedures in accordance with Nestlé standards.
• Conduct inspections and evaluations to identify and analyze workplace hazards that could harm people, property, or the environment.
• Investigate, document, and photograph accidents and incidents; compile and analyze data to prepare reports with findings and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Perform ergonomic assessments of workspaces, review employee work processes, and recommend changes to reduce workplace discomfort.
• Collaborate with staff and other stakeholders to reduce the frequency and severity of accidental losses, promoting a workplace committed to safety and loss prevention.
• Provide necessary safety training to employees.
• Prepare comprehensive emergency response plans.
• Ensure continuous compliance with ISO 45001-2018 standards.
• Adhere to Nestlé EHS rules and procedures at all times during working hours to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Risk Management, or a closely related field.
• 1 to 3 years of practical experience in the health and safety domain.
• Possession of a SAFETY Kawader certificate.

Desired Certifications

Certifications such as OSHA/NEBOSH or HSE/OSH are considered a significant advantage for this role.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based at the Nestlé Waters KSA – Almanhal Water Factory located in the Riyadh Second Industrial Area, Saudi Arabia. The role requires consistent adherence to safety protocols within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
