The Role: Technical Program Manager AI Delivery

Cohere is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to join its customer-facing Engineering Program Management team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires independence, leadership, and direct experience with customers, managing projects for enterprise-grade software or machine learning solutions. The successful candidate will contribute to Cohere’s operations, collaborate with experts in the LLM space, and work directly with Strategic Customers, Applied ML (AML) Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE), Platform, Product, and Go-to-Market teams. This position serves as a technical representative for Cohere to its customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clear, timely, and objective communication across the technology organization, Cohere teams, leadership, strategic customers, and external partners.
• Break down complex issues into actionable strategies, ensuring engineering alignment with product, business, and marketing objectives while fostering collaboration.
• Create and manage program and project schedules, identify dependencies, manage risks, and drive organizational alignment.
• Ensure on-time delivery of projects, identify development needs, and establish checkpoints for status updates.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues, coordinate cross-functional dependencies, and prioritize impacts to schedule and product quality.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in Engineering Program Management or Technical Program Management.
• Demonstrated curiosity, drive, and independence.
• Hands-on experience working directly with customers.
• Experience managing projects for enterprise-grade software or enterprise-focused machine learning solutions.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is SAR 365,000 to SAR 525,000 annually.

Cohere supports a remote-friendly work model, with offices available in Toronto, London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin, and Seoul. For those not near an office, a co-working benefit is provided. All employees receive a $500 home office stipend.
