About the Role

SRG Mining is seeking an Accountant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires proven experience in Saudi Arabia to manage daily accounting operations, support financial reporting, and ensure full compliance with ZATCA requirements. The role involves a minimum of 2-5 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily transactions, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, and follow up on vendor and customer balances.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and file VAT returns, and support Zakat filings with ZATCA.
• Issue and review e-invoices in line with ZATCA (Fatoora) requirements.
• Process payroll and reconcile GOSI and Mudad records.
• Track project and exploration costs against approved budgets.
• Prepare financial reports and schedules for management and external auditors.
• Maintain proper documentation and support internal controls.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Hands-on experience with VAT, Zakat, and ZATCA e-invoicing.
• Good knowledge of IFRS.
• Experience with an ERP or accounting system (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Strong Excel skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in mining, oil & gas, construction, or project-based companies.
• SOCPA membership or progress toward CMA, CPA, or similar certifications.
