About the Role

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center (KFSH), a prominent healthcare institution in Riyadh, is seeking a dedicated Angiography / Fluoroscopy Technologist. This full-time position involves operating specialized Angiography/Fluoroscopy (Angio/Fluoro) equipment and providing essential support to assigned radiologists. The role requires a professional with 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Review exam orders, requisitions, and corresponding protocols, seeking guidance from senior staff as needed.
• Interpret and apply instructions from physicians to accurately complete Angiography or Fluoroscopy procedures.
• Prepare the examination room and ensure all necessary supplies are available.
• Select and program appropriate image receptors and recorders for each procedure.
• Forward recorded images in the correct format to radiologists for interpretation, and assist with image manipulation and archiving.
• Assess and periodically stock Angio and Fluoro supplies, ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready for subsequent use.
• Assist in the training and supervision of students, interns, and trainees, including performance evaluation.
• Provide support to radiologists during endovascular laser therapy (EVLT) procedures.

Equipment Operation and Maintenance

• Perform routine operator maintenance on Angio/Fluoro equipment.
• Report equipment failures or repair needs to supervisors and maintain accurate documentation.
• Conduct quality control studies on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain cleanliness of the examination room and equipment.

Compliance and Safety Standards

• Adhere to all section policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Follow the section's quality improvement program in alignment with standards set by CBAHI, JCI, SFDA, and other accreditation agencies.
• Comply with the Hospital's Radiation Safety Rules and Regulations, as mandated by KACST, * CARE, and other National or International Regulatory bodies.
• Apply the ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principle in all procedures within the section's practice.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position must possess 2 to 5 years of experience as an Angiography / Fluoroscopy Technologist, demonstrating proficiency in operating relevant equipment and assisting in complex procedures within a clinical setting.
