About Jazeera Paints

Jazeera Paints, a leading company, is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is crucial for maintaining financial integrity and operational efficiency within an assigned region.

The Role

The Accountant will be responsible for comprehensive financial control, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and contributing to sound financial management practices. This position requires a proactive approach to monitoring financial procedures and supporting strategic financial analysis within the designated operational area.

Core Financial Management

Exercise comprehensive control over the financial operations of the assigned region.
Monitor, evaluate, and enhance existing financial procedures and policies to ensure effectiveness.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for the region, ensuring the integrity of all financial data.
Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure financial records comply with regulatory standards.
Analyse intermediate accounts, such as customer deposits and advance payments, ensuring accurate records and timely follow-up.
Monitor and control regional expenses, ensuring strict adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Provide insightful analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve overall financial efficiency.

Operational Accounting and Compliance

Conduct monthly stock inventory checks in assigned branches and warehouses within the region.
Prepare detailed reports highlighting discrepancies, ensuring transparency and accuracy in inventory records.
Perform daily closing procedures for assigned branches, reconciling sales and cash transactions.
Assist in financial audits by providing necessary documentation, data, and analytical support to auditors.
Collaborate closely with the audit team to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process.
Execute activities related to the function using safe and environmentally sound methods.
Perform any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor or manager.
