The Role of Aviation Life Support Equipment Instructor

Alsalam Aerospace Industries is seeking an Aviation Life Support Equipment (ALSE) Instructor to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves delivering specialized ALSE training courses, providing both theoretical and practical instruction to participants. The instructor will operate as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the ALSE specialty, ensuring adherence to high technical and instructional standards. The position reports to the Technical Crew Training Manager and requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized ALSE training courses, providing theoretical and practical instruction to course participants.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Instructor in the ALSE specialty, maintaining high technical and instructional standards.
• Develop manuals, guidelines, training curricula, and instructional materials aligned with course objectives.
• Support other instructors and apply effective training methodologies to promote trainee engagement and learning.
• Review training documents, manuals, and instructional materials, providing recommendations for improvement and standardization.
• Participate in trainee progress review meetings, identify development needs, and recommend appropriate improvement strategies.
• Conduct formative and summative evaluations, highlighting trainee strengths and areas for improvement.
• Coordinate assigned training activities and project elements to ensure compliance with operational and training requirements.
• Prepare and deliver ALSE training courses, training pathways, and On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs.
• Determine training resource requirements and manage the requisition, control, and accountability of testing materials, training aids, and instructional resources.
• Ensure the availability and currency of ALSE Specialty Training Standards (STS), course materials, and other required training documentation.
• Provide advice and recommendations to senior management regarding ALSE staffing, competency development, and training requirements.
• Develop, review, modify, and update publications, technical manuals, training materials, and related instructional documentation.
• Evaluate the technical and instructional performance of assigned personnel and provide appropriate feedback and development recommendations.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field, demonstrating a strong background in Aviation Life Support Equipment and instructional delivery.
