About the Role

MOBCO Group is seeking a BIM Engineer (MEP) to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is integral to the prestigious Diriyah Project, focusing on the development and management of MEP Building Information Models.

Role Overview

The selected candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive development, coordination, and management of MEP Building Information Models (BIM). This involves ensuring the seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across all phases of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate MEP BIM models using Autodesk Revit and other BIM software.
• Coordinate MEP models with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines.
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks and coordinate the resolution of clashes with project stakeholders.
• Prepare and update BIM models in accordance with project requirements and BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
• Generate shop drawings, coordinated drawings, schedules, and quantity take-offs from BIM models.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, company BIM standards, and client requirements.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and provide technical support to project teams.
• Manage model revisions and maintain proper documentation throughout the project.
• Support site teams by resolving BIM-related technical issues and incorporating field changes into the models.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience as an MEP BIM Engineer on large-scale building or infrastructure projects.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, and AutoCAD.
• Experience with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud is an advantage.
• Good understanding of MEP systems, construction methodologies, and coordination processes.
• Familiarity with Saudi Building Code (SBC) and international BIM standards is preferred.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience working on mega projects is highly desirable.
