The Role of COD SPL/Cashier

This is a full-time, on-site role for a COD SPL/Cashier based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position involves accurately receiving, recording, and reconciling cash-on-delivery (COD) payments from customers and delivery personnel. The COD SPL/Cashier will manage daily cash collection, verify transaction records against system data, and prepare cash summaries and reports for finance and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Maintaining secure cash handling procedures.
Resolving payment discrepancies.
Supporting drivers with COD-related queries.
Ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Coordinating with customer service for payment issues.
Preparing documentation for audits.
Contributing to process improvements in COD operations.

Qualifications and Skills

Cash Handling and Reconciliation: Experience with COD transactions and basic accounting or bookkeeping.
Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy in data entry and ability to work with financial records and reporting tools.
Communication Skills: Ability to coordinate professionally with drivers, clients, and internal teams.
Time Management: Organizational skills to handle high volumes of transactions and meet daily cut-off times.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in office software (*, Excel, spreadsheets, ERP or finance systems) and comfort with learning new tools.
Prior Experience: Experience in logistics, courier services, retail cashiers, or finance operations is an advantage.
Education: A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred.
Language Skills: Basic English language skills are required; Arabic language skills are an asset.
