About the Role of Consultant, Adult Epilepsy

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh is seeking a Consultant, Adult Epilepsy. This full-time position involves the diagnosis and treatment of medical diseases and conditions within the field of Adult Epilepsy, ensuring the provision of high-quality medical care in accordance with established medical staff bylaws, rules, regulations, and hospital policies and procedures. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care across all aspects of Adult Epilepsy, adhering to approved clinical privileges.
• Offer consultations for inpatients and emergency room cases upon request, responding promptly within the timeframe outlined by hospital policy.
• Ensure the timely completion, accuracy, and eligibility of medical records.
• Provide on-call service, ensuring availability and response within the prescribed timeframe as per hospital policy.
• Conduct daily morning rounds to identify patients ready for discharge and ensure discharge orders are written 24 hours prior to discharge.
• Perform other clinical responsibilities related to Adult Epilepsy as assigned.

Professional Development and Education

• Provide orientation, bedside training, and supervision to interns, residents, and fellows as assigned.
• Participate in the Department’s educational activities and training programs.
• Partake in national and international medical conferences.
• Maintain and enhance professional knowledge and fulfill continuing education requirements.
