About the Role

Delta Limited Co. is seeking an experienced Chief Steward to lead the stewarding operations for its large-scale catering business in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves ensuring kitchens, equipment, and service ware meet the required cleanliness and safety standards set by Saudi authorities and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, schedule, and train the stewarding team, including manpower planning for daily service, banquets, and large events.
Oversee dishwashing, pot-washing, kitchen cleaning, and deep-cleaning programs according to a documented schedule.
Ensure compliance with HACCP, SFDA, and Saudi Municipality (Baladi) requirements, and prepare the team for audits and client inspections.
Control cleaning chemicals and dosing, manage waste handling, and coordinate with pest control contractors.
Manage stock and losses of china, glassware, cutlery, pots, and cleaning supplies, and report on breakage and costs.
Inspect and maintain dishwashing machines and stewarding equipment, reporting faults promptly.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef, Operations, and Procurement teams to support the mobilization of new sites and large functions.
Enforce safety protocols, proper PPE use, and personal hygiene standards across the team.

Required Qualifications

A minimum of 7 years of experience in stewarding, with at least 3 years in a Chief, Head, or Senior Steward role.
Proven experience in large-scale catering operations, preferably with companies such as Sodexo, Saudi Catering, Nesma, or similar.
Experience managing large teams in operations serving thousands of meals per day.
Valid HACCP and food safety certification (Level 2 or 3 preferred).
Good knowledge of Saudi food safety and hygiene regulations.
