Civil Engineer

About the Role

GEO Global Engineering Consultants is seeking a qualified and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves working closely with senior engineers, project managers, clients, contractors, and other disciplines to ensure the successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in civil engineering design, site development, infrastructure, technical coordination, and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare civil engineering designs, drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
• Perform design activities for site development, grading, roads, pavements, drainage, stormwater, utilities, and infrastructure works.
• Prepare and review civil layouts, profiles, sections, details, and construction drawings.
• Carry out engineering calculations and ensure designs meet project requirements and applicable standards.
• Coordinate civil engineering designs with Architecture, Structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
• Review multidisciplinary drawings and identify potential clashes and design conflicts.
• Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, technical proposals, and other submissions.
• Assist in responding to technical queries and resolving design and construction-related issues.
• Participate in design coordination meetings, client meetings, and technical discussions.
• Conduct site visits and inspections when required.
• Provide technical support during construction and assist in resolving site issues.
• Ensure civil engineering deliverables are completed within the required project schedule and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), applicable Saudi authority requirements, project specifications, and international standards.
• Maintain proper records of calculations, drawings, technical submissions, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with senior engineers and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in civil engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in civil engineering design, site development, and infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in technical coordination and project documentation.

Work Environment

This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time role within GEO Global Engineering Consultants. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a team environment, engaging with various stakeholders including senior engineers, project managers, clients, and contractors.
