About the Role

Hilton is seeking a Cluster Purchasing Supervisor to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to ensuring efficient procurement and inventory management across the cluster, contributing to the delivery of high-quality hospitality experiences.

Strategic Purchasing and Supplier Management

The Cluster Purchasing Supervisor is responsible for executing comprehensive sourcing strategies. This includes the selection, evaluation, and ongoing management of suppliers, alongside negotiating contract terms. The primary objective is to ensure cost-effectiveness and maintain stability within the supply chain, directly supporting operational needs.

Core Responsibilities

• Support procurement and receiving operations, including assisting with purchasing activities, overseeing receiving processes, and managing inventory to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Collaborate with internal outlet managers to ensure that all purchases align with specific operational needs and quality specifications.
• Process invoices by reviewing them for accuracy and addressing any discrepancies to facilitate timely payments and resolve issues efficiently.
• Assist in supplier management, focusing on securing competitive pricing, accurately placing orders, and tracking deliveries to ensure timely arrival of goods.
• Conduct quality checks on incoming shipments to verify adherence to order specifications, grade, and established quality standards.

Team Leadership and Compliance

This role involves supervising and developing the purchasing and receiving team. The supervisor will be responsible for training, scheduling, and providing guidance and support to clerks to ensure high performance. Additionally, the Cluster Purchasing Supervisor ensures that all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, upholding the company's ethical standards consistently.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the hospitality sector or a similar fast-paced environment.
