About the Opportunity

Métier - Strategic HR Solutions is recruiting a Compliance Officer for one of its clients in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is dedicated to upholding regulatory standards within the Kingdom, with a primary focus on KSA regulatory compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Financing of Terrorism (CFT), licensing, and comprehensive compliance risk management.

Role Context and Focus

The Compliance Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining the client's regulatory integrity and operational adherence. This position involves active engagement with policy governance, regulatory reporting, and ongoing compliance monitoring. The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with the Head of Compliance / General Manager and relevant regulatory authorities to ensure robust compliance frameworks are in place and effectively managed.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable KSA regulatory requirements and maintain the regulatory compliance calendar.
• Manage and renew relevant company registrations, licenses, and regulatory documentation.
• Coordinate with relevant regulatory authorities on reporting, inspections, and official correspondence.
• Develop, implement, and maintain AML/CFT policies, procedures, registers, and controls.
• Conduct compliance reviews, risk assessments, internal audits, and support corrective actions.
• Support the development and updating of internal policies in line with KSA regulations and best practices.
• Deliver compliance, AML/CFT, and ethics training and promote adherence to the Code of Conduct.
• Maintain compliance registers, trackers, policies, and documentation to ensure the organization remains audit-ready.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should have a solid foundation in regulatory compliance, particularly within the Saudi Arabian context. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in a compliance-focused role is essential. This includes practical experience with KSA regulatory requirements, AML/CFT frameworks, and compliance risk management.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Compliance Officer will operate within a dynamic environment, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies to uphold the highest standards of compliance.
