Construction Director

About the Role

Parsons is seeking a Construction Director to join the site team for the Diriyah Boulevard & Public Realm Project. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The project is a key part of Diriyah Gate Phase 2, encompassing iconic parks, open spaces, public realm areas, and over 55 kilometers of streetscape works. The objective is to create an inclusive environment that enhances livability and community well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and oversee all construction activities for the Diriyah Boulevard & Public Realm Project.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to site construction teams and supervision staff.
• Ensure construction works are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical and construction issues.
• Review and approve construction plans, method statements, and work programs.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and delays, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
• Oversee contract administration in coordination with commercial and contracts teams.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports, dashboards, and key metrics to senior management and the client.
• Support change management, claims avoidance/mitigation, and dispute resolution.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.

Required Experience

• Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, working as part of a dedicated site team on a landmark project.
