Consultant System Engineer

About the Role

Emdad By Elm is seeking a Consultant System Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in Linux systems administration, virtualization, containerization, and infrastructure management. The position focuses on the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploying and configuring OpenShift Container Platform (certifications preferred for platform **
• Administering Red Hat Linux , , and environments.
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining server hardware, storage hardware, and associated network equipment.
• Managing Docker containers and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Mesosphere, and OpenShift.
• Managing VMware vSphere and VMware NSX.
• Managing Red Hat Satellite and Capsule servers.
• Providing support for Linux networking, storage, and security.
• Supporting cloud computing environments, including virtualization, containerization, Infrastructure as a Service, and cloud security.
• Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and system issues.

Required Experience and Skills

Candidates for this role should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Linux systems administration, virtualization, containerization, and infrastructure management. Proficiency in the administration of Red Hat Linux versions , , and is essential.

Technical Proficiencies

• Linux systems administration.
• Virtualization technologies, specifically VMware vSphere and VMware NSX.
• Containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, Mesosphere, and OpenShift.
• Infrastructure management and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Red Hat Satellite and Capsule servers.
