About the Role: Demi Chef de Partie - Arabic Kitchen

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated Demi Chef de Partie for the Arabic Kitchen in Riyadh. This full-time position involves supporting the Chef de Partie in daily operations, focusing on the preparation and presentation of high-quality Arabic dishes in accordance with established hotel standards.

Role Purpose and Operational Excellence

The Demi Chef de Partie plays a crucial role in maintaining consistency, ensuring food safety, and upholding operational excellence within the Arabic Kitchen. This position is integral to delivering an exceptional dining experience for guests through meticulous preparation and adherence to quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie in the daily operations of the Arabic Kitchen.
• Prepare and present authentic Arabic dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared, stored, and handled in compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the assigned work area.
• Monitor stock levels and report any shortages to the Chef de Partie.
• Support the training and guidance of junior kitchen team members.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, portioning, and presentation across all dishes.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to achieve operational goals and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Demi Chef de Partie role.
• Previous experience in a 5-star hotel environment is required; luxury hotel experience is considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Arabic cuisine and traditional food preparation techniques.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.

• Ability to work efficiently and maintain composure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Demonstrated strong teamwork and effective communication skills.
