Director, Marketing Services at Visa (KSA)

Visa is seeking an experienced client leader to join its Marketing Services team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on supporting the growth and delivery of marketing services within the region. The Director will report to the Senior Director, Marketing Services KBO, and will be instrumental in driving value-added services revenue through client engagements.

Role Overview

The selected candidate will manage a portfolio of key accounts, collaborating with Account Executives and client stakeholders to identify, shape, and deliver marketing engagements. These engagements span financial institutions, merchants, and fintechs. The role involves close coordination with various internal Visa teams, including Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA), Products, Sales, Finance, Compliance, Sourcing, and Controllership, to provide comprehensive marketing solutions from strategy to campaign execution. The Director will contribute to the Saudi Arabia Marketing Services pipeline and financial plan, supporting opportunity development and ensuring disciplined delivery from scoping through close-out.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Marketing Services relationship for assigned key accounts in Saudi Arabia, building trusted relationships and understanding client business objectives and marketing priorities.
Partner with Account Executives to identify, qualify, scope, and progress Marketing Services opportunities, contributing to account plans, proposals, and statements of work.
Manage multiple client projects simultaneously from initiation to closure, ensuring clear workplans, milestones, responsibilities, budgets, and decision points.
Apply effective project management disciplines, including risk and issue management, change control, status reporting, and quality assurance.
Coordinate subject-matter experts and delivery partners across Visa Consulting & Analytics, Products, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and other functions to ensure a consistent client experience.
Ensure all engagements comply with Visa requirements for Compliance, Legal, Sourcing, procurement, information security, privacy, financial controls, and third-party governance.
Manage agencies, vendors, and external partners as required, including briefing, scope control, sourcing processes, delivery oversight, and budget reconciliation.
Monitor project economics, revenue recognition inputs, costs, and margin, maintaining accurate forecasts and providing updates on delivery progress and risks.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Over 12 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
Demonstrated ability to combine exceptional client stakeholder management with strong project and commercial discipline.
Experience managing multiple concurrent client engagements, coordinating cross-functional contributors, and managing scope, dependencies, risks, issues, budget, and delivery quality.
A consultative, analytical, and collaborative approach, with the ability to translate client requirements into practical marketing programs and measurable outcomes.
