The Opportunity: Director of Special Education

Delta Schools is seeking a qualified and experienced Director of Special Education to lead its Special Education Division. This full-time role in Riyadh involves overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive special education programs, ensuring effective support and inclusive practices across the school.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the school’s special education programs.
• Oversee the creation and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Supervise and provide support to special education teachers and specialists.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality learning support and inclusive educational practices.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and school leadership to achieve educational goals.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in special education and educational leadership.
• Demonstrated experience in overseeing and developing special education initiatives.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), assessment methodologies, intervention strategies, and inclusion practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is considered an advantage.
