About the Role

Alfanar is seeking an Engineer Planning for its Building Systems division in Riyadh. This full-time role supports large-scale real estate development projects by managing day-to-day scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting cycles across multiple concurrent projects. The Planning Engineer will collaborate closely with site teams, project managers, and client-side planners to ensure schedules are accurate, credible, and actionable.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, structure, and maintain detailed project schedules in Primavera P6, covering civil, MEP, finishing, mobilization, and handover activities.
Build and validate the Work Breakdown Structure, activity logic, durations, dependencies, and baseline revisions.
Manage change control for baseline revisions and ensure approved schedules align with project execution strategy.
Collect, verify, and update site progress data on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
Prepare S-curves, look-ahead schedules, manpower/resource histograms, progress reports, and management dashboards.
Perform schedule variance analysis, identify critical path shifts and delay causes, and recommend recovery actions.
Track performance using Earned Value Management, including SPI, CPI, and forecast-at-completion trends.
Coordinate with cost control to support cost/schedule integration and maintain a single source of truth for project status.
Participate in progress meetings, follow up on actions, and align reporting formats with client and consultant requirements.

Comply with relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work.
