Esnad Contracting is a company operating in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The company is currently seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer Mechanical to join its team. This full-time role is integral to the project tendering and cost management processes within the organization.

The Role of Estimation Engineer Mechanical

The Estimation Engineer Mechanical is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and comprehensive proposals for mechanical works. This position requires a detailed understanding of mechanical systems, market dynamics, and tender processes to ensure competitive and precise pricing for various projects undertaken by Esnad Contracting.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and tender documents.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for mechanical works, including HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and infrastructure utility systems.
• Develop accurate project cost estimates and pricing analyses for tenders.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for tenders and bidding submissions.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project execution teams to ensure accurate project data and cost estimates.
• Analyze project risks and opportunities to enhance project profitability.
• Maintain and update cost databases, pricing records, and market rates.
• Monitor local and international market trends to ensure competitive and accurate pricing.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in mechanical estimation within the construction industry.
• Strong experience in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and tender pricing.
• Excellent knowledge of local and international construction markets, suppliers, and pricing trends.
• Proven experience in reviewing mechanical drawings and technical specifications.

Skills and Certifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant estimation software is required.
• Professional certifications in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management are considered an advantage, with RICS certification being preferred.
