The Role of Executive Director, Real Estate Development

The Executive Director, Real Estate Development, will lead the complete development lifecycle for major real estate projects. This full-time role involves overseeing projects from initial concept and feasibility studies through to final delivery and handover. The position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the full development lifecycle of major real estate projects, from concept and feasibility to delivery and handover.
Oversee planning, design coordination, commercial structuring, and execution across multiple assets.
Manage relationships with government entities, investors, consultants, and contractors.
Ensure strong governance, effective risk management, and certainty of delivery for all projects.
Contribute to shaping the long-term development pipeline and investment strategy for the group.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

A minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in real estate development within large, complex project environments.
Strong exposure to Saudi Arabia's regulatory and development landscape is highly preferred.
Demonstrated technical development expertise combined with commercial acumen and stakeholder management capabilities.
Experience working with public-sector stakeholders or within giga-project environments is an advantage.
Ability to demonstrate credibility, decision-making authority, and long-term strategic thinking.
