About the Role of Facility Engineer

Awtad is seeking a Facility Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing the maintenance, operation, and improvement of company facilities. The Facility Engineer will be responsible for conducting inspections, troubleshooting equipment issues, coordinating repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. The position also focuses on identifying and implementing strategies to enhance facility efficiency and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance and repair needs.
Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repair activities, including routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the ongoing reliability and safety of facilities.
Create and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in facility operations.
Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to coordinate facility-related projects.
Respond to facility emergencies and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in facility management or a similar role.
Knowledge of building systems and maintenance best practices.

Required Skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in both Arabic and English.
Proficiency in computer applications related to facility management.
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
