The Opportunity

Hala is seeking a Finance Operations - Reconciliation Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions and accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and executing all reconciliation activities, contributing to the efficiency and reliability of financial operations within a dynamic fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage internal reconciliation and balancing analysis for pool accounts and internal transactions.
• Submit accurate summary reconciliation reports in a timely manner, highlighting necessary actions.
• Take appropriate actions to resolve discrepancies, including investigating transactions, bank and internal cases, or customer claims.
• Collaborate closely with other departments to resolve any reconciliation issues efficiently.
• Promptly resolve or escalate any unaddressed risks identified during the reconciliation process.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of daily and periodic reconciliation procedures.
• Ensure that reconciliation controls and processes are current and effective.
• Maintain and upgrade knowledge of core aspects of banking and accounting reconciliation.
• Prepare general ledger reconciliations.
• Perform ad-hoc requests and special projects related to the role as required.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of experience in finance operations, with a significant focus on reconciliation within a banking or fintech context. A strong understanding of core banking and accounting reconciliation principles is essential, along with a proven ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
