About the Role

Moyasar is seeking a Fraud Specialist to join its team in Riyadh. As a financial company operating in the payments sector, fraud prevention is critical for protecting customers, payment services, and business operations. This full-time role involves monitoring transactions and user activity, investigating suspicious cases, and supporting effective fraud detection and prevention within the company's payment and wallet environment.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor transactions, accounts, and user activity to identify potential fraudulent behavior.
Review and investigate fraud alerts and suspicious transactions.
Analyze transactional and non-transactional data to identify unusual patterns, trends, and fraud indicators.
Investigate suspected fraud cases and document findings clearly.
Assess and authorize high-risk payment transactions in line with established fraud controls and procedures.
Raise and manage chargeback claims on behalf of customers and follow up on cases through resolution.
Support the identification and prevention of emerging fraud typologies.
Escalate high-risk or complex cases to appropriate stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records of fraud investigations, decisions, chargebacks, and actions taken.
Work with relevant teams to improve fraud detection rules, monitoring processes, and controls.
Analyze fraud trends and prepare reports and insights for management.
Support continuous improvement of fraud prevention and detection processes.
Collaborate with Risk, Operations, AML, Compliance, and other relevant teams as required.

Qualifications and Experience

1-3 years of experience in fraud, fraud operations, fraud analysis, financial crime, or a related field.
Hands-on experience in fraud detection, monitoring, investigation, transaction analysis, or a similar area.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.

Required Skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to make well-supported decisions based on available data.
Good communication and documentation skills.

Work Environment

The role requires willingness to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 operational environment, including day and night shifts, to ensure continuous fraud prevention coverage.
