Role Overview

Soar is seeking a General Manager (GM) for its operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing and executing the company’s day-to-day business operations in the Kingdom, translating company strategy into measurable commercial and operational results. The GM will serve as the primary operational leader for Soar’s Saudi business, ensuring alignment between commercial objectives, customer experience, operational delivery, and the company’s overall strategy. The position requires over 10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day business operations in Saudi Arabia, ensuring efficient execution of business plans and priorities.
• Translate company strategy into actionable operational plans, milestones, and measurable KPIs.
• Drive customer acquisition, transaction growth, and achievement of commercial targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with banks, institutional investors, real estate developers, brokers, and other stakeholders.
• Lead commercial negotiations and partnership execution within delegated authority.
• Ensure day-to-day business activities comply with applicable licenses, regulatory approvals, and permitted scope.
• Oversee customer-facing and financing-related operational processes, monitoring turnaround times and service quality.
• Manage the Saudi business operating budget, monitoring performance, expenses, and revenue targets.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Saudi operations and commercial teams, establishing clear responsibilities and performance expectations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Credit, Risk, Operations, Finance, Compliance, and Treasury.

Qualifications and Experience

• Over 10 years of experience in financial services, fintech, or real estate finance.
• Demonstrated strong business acumen and operational discipline.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, lead teams, and build trusted business relationships.
• Experience in solving operational challenges within a fast-moving fintech environment.
• Strong ownership, accountability, sound judgment, and clear communication skills.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions and escalate material risks appropriately.

Performance Indicators

Performance for this role will be assessed against agreed targets, including achievement of commercial and operational objectives, customer acquisition and transaction growth, conversion rates, operational turnaround times, customer satisfaction, budget adherence, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The General Manager will operate in a dynamic fintech environment, coordinating with various internal departments and external stakeholders to drive business growth and operational excellence.
