About the Role

Airbus Helicopters Arabia for Aircraft Maintenance is seeking an H125 B1 Mechanical Training Instructor for a fixed-term position. This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with responsibilities extending to Taif. The instructor will be primarily responsible for developing and delivering mechanical training programs for customer technicians, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Study and analyze customer training regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Develop Course Training Standards, Course Instructional Plans, and Course Synopses in accordance with customer regulations.
  • Create Basic and Advanced Specialty courses as per customer requirements.
  • Edit and update the Master Training Plan regularly.
  • Perform On The Job Training (OJT) for customer technicians using pre-developed training aids.
  • Comply with all Aviation, Safety, Quality, and Export Control Regulations and Procedures.
  • Adhere to all Airbus Helicopters Management Systems, Policies, and Regulations.
  • Inspect tools and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for condition and expiration dates before any training activity, ensuring correct usage.
  • Verify components and parts for conditions (*, damages, leaks) and confirm documentation applicability before training.
  • Determine and perform maintenance requirements for parts, clearances, tolerances, fuel and hydraulic leaks, and corrosion damage.
  • Interpret wiring diagrams and technical publications.
  • Ensure all work performed is recorded on appropriate paperwork and signed off progressively as required by the AHA Management System.
  • Ensure correct use and control of aircraft parts and materials.
  • Verify aircraft status regarding scheduled tasks and deferred items, ensuring serviceability and compliance with the applicable AHA Management System for Release to Service.
  • Ensure timely completion of work and adherence to delivery quality requirements of the AHA Management System.
  • Evaluate the performance of assigned customer trainees.
  • Conduct on-the-job training activities.
  • Train personnel on the use of maintenance manuals.
  • Train personnel in all safety directives and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
