About Larsen & Toubro

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a HSE Officer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is suitable for professionals with 0-1 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment roles.

Role Overview

The HSE Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation and maintenance of the company's Health, Safety, and Environment management systems at the site level. This position focuses on ensuring compliance with safety standards, conducting regular inspections, and fostering a strong safety culture among all site personnel.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and assist site management in implementing the company's HSE Management System and project-specific HSE Plan.
Carry out HSE inspections of work areas, work methods, personnel, machinery, materials, plant, and other tools and tackles.
Create HSE awareness through regular Pep Talks.
Conduct investigations of incidents and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
Advise and coordinate for the implementation of Work Permit Systems.
Inspect Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure 100% usage of all required PPE.
Report to the HSEM on all matters pertaining to the status of HSE and promotional programs at the site level.
Facilitate the screening of workmen and conduct HSE induction programs.
Monitor the administration of First Aid.
Conduct Fire Drills, procure, inspect, and arrange for the maintenance of Fire Extinguishers.

Qualifications and Experience

ADIS / PDIS qualification is mandatory.
NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.
0-1 years of professional experience in a Health, Safety, and Environment role.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a dynamic site environment, contributing to the overall safety and well-being of the workforce.
