About the International Fellowship Program

Duncan & Ross is recruiting a founding cohort of 21 Fellows for an International Fellowship program based in Riyadh. This full-time role is designed to build legal, technical, and policy capacity in support of a national AI and digital governance initiative in Saudi Arabia. Fellows will join as a single cohort, working together across two parallel tracks.

Role Overview

The International Fellowship targets global specialist talent in regulatory law, applied AI/ML evaluation, and AI governance/policy. This track aims to attract and integrate international expertise to support Saudi Arabia's digital transformation agenda. The program includes a localization and capacity-building track, which pairs Saudi talent with international specialists to build lasting in-country expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Work at the intersection of regulatory law, applied AI evaluation, AI governance, and public policy.
• Contribute to establishing frameworks for AI systems governance.
• Develop and implement evaluation methods for AI systems.
• Assist in building institutional structures necessary for AI governance.
• Support a national AI and digital governance initiative.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience level: 0-1 year.
• Specialization in regulatory law, applied AI/ML evaluation, or AI governance/policy.
• Demonstrated interest in public policy and digital transformation initiatives.

Program Structure

The program is structured as a single cohort intake, with all 21 Fellows joining on the same date. The cohort will operate as one integrated program, organized into two parallel tracks to maximize collaboration and knowledge transfer between international specialists and local talent.

Location and Compensation

This full-time International Fellowship is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Compensation for this role will be discussed directly with qualified candidates.
