About Bunge and the Role

Bunge is seeking a Junior Accountant to join its finance team in Riyadh. This full-time role is integral to supporting the financial health of the company by ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions. The position operates in line with company policies, local regulations, and accounting standards in Saudi Arabia.

Role Overview

As a Junior Accountant, you will be involved in day-to-day accounting operations and work closely with the finance team in Riyadh. This position provides key support to the Financial Controller, contributing to the accurate and timely management of financial records and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing customer and vendor invoices (Accounts Payable/Receivable).
• Supporting bank reconciliations and cash transactions.
• Assisting with inventory accounting and related postings.
• Booking prepaid expenses and supporting amortization schedules.
• Assisting with intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Maintaining fixed asset records and supporting depreciation processes.
• Supporting general ledger postings, including Selling, General, and Administrative (SG&A) expenses.
• Assisting with Value Added Tax (VAT) and Withholding Tax (WHT) reporting in line with Saudi regulations.
• Supporting month-end closing activities and balance sheet reconciliations.

Required Experience and Skills

Candidates for this position should possess 2-5 years of experience in an accounting role. The role requires a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles. Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP, is necessary for supporting financial operations and reporting.
