The Role: Junior JavaScript Developer

Bavarian Capital is seeking a Junior JavaScript Developer to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, fully remote position. The primary focus of this role is to help maintain and build internal tools that support the firm's investment analysis and reporting, ensuring data remains accessible and reliable as managed capital grows.

Role Overview

The Junior JavaScript Developer will join a distributed team of engineers dedicated to developing clean, functional interfaces for proprietary investment platforms. This position involves close collaboration with analysts to understand interactions with complex financial data, translating these needs into efficient and maintainable code. As a fully remote role, it requires a high degree of self-organization and a commitment to clear, written communication. Key Responsibilities

  • Write clean, readable JavaScript code for internal web applications and data visualization tools.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in software development.

  • Strong fundamental knowledge of modern JavaScript, including basic ES6 syntax and asynchronous programming.
  • Familiarity with HTML5 and CSS3 for building structured, styled, and accessible web layouts.
  • A basic understanding of modern front-end frameworks, such as React or Vue, demonstrated through projects or internships.
  • A disciplined approach to problem-solving and a focus on the small details that ensure software reliability.
  • The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively in a remote, text-based setting.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to the firm's specific coding standards and architectural preferences.
  • Experience with version control systems, specifically Git, for collaborative development.
