The Role

exequt is seeking a Kubernetes Engineer to design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and involves ensuring high availability, security, and scalability for containerized workloads across production and non-production environments. The role requires 3-7 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters.
• Manage Kubernetes resources including Pods, Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress, Namespaces, and Persistent Volumes.
• Implement container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker/container runtimes.
• Monitor cluster health, performance, availability, and resource utilization.
• Configure RBAC, network policies, security controls, and secrets management.
• Manage cluster upgrades, patching, scaling, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Troubleshoot application, networking, storage, and cluster-level issues.
• Implement High Availability (HA) and scalability for Kubernetes workloads.
• Integrate Kubernetes with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and DevOps tools.
• Automate infrastructure and deployments using Helm, Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Work with cloud Kubernetes platforms such as OpenShift, AKS, EKS, or GKE where applicable.
