About Deemah and the Role

Deemah is seeking a Logistics Excellence Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to establishing and leading logistics excellence across the company's warehousing, transportation, and distribution operations. The manager will drive initiatives to enhance logistics service, cost efficiency, and operational reliability.

Role Purpose and Objectives

The Logistics Excellence Manager is responsible for developing and implementing logistics performance standards and monitoring operational KPIs. This position ensures structured performance governance, process standardization, and continuous improvement. The role aims to strengthen logistics execution, visibility, and scalability in alignment with Deemah's growth objectives.

Core Responsibilities for Logistics Excellence

• Lead the development and implementation of logistics excellence standards across warehousing, transportation, and distribution operations.
• Establish governance frameworks, performance reporting standards, and operational procedures across logistics functions.
• Ensure logistics processes comply with company policies, operational guidelines, and supply chain governance frameworks.
• Coordinate with warehouse, transport, and customer service teams to improve operational discipline and execution visibility.
• Support the development of logistics operational capabilities and promote best practices across teams.

Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement

• Monitor logistics performance through key KPIs including OTIF, logistics cost, warehouse productivity, transport utilization, and operational adherence.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across logistics operations through root cause analysis and performance reviews.
• Identify logistics performance gaps affecting service, cost, and execution reliability, then develop targeted improvement initiatives.
• Track logistics KPIs and provide regular performance reports to supply chain leadership.
• Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities across logistics operations.
• Promote a continuous improvement culture within logistics teams.
• Facilitate logistics performance review meetings and escalate operational issues to supply chain leadership when required.
• Support logistics cost monitoring and identify improvement opportunities to optimize cost-to-serve.

Strategic Initiatives and Operational Readiness

• Support logistics network optimization through route efficiency, warehouse productivity improvements, and cost-to-serve analysis.
• Support logistics digital transformation initiatives, including reporting automation, system utilization, and data quality improvements.
• Ensure logistics readiness to support business growth, customer requirements, and operational scalability.
