ABYAT is expanding its presence beyond Kuwait into Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE, with a focus on customer needs.

The Role

ABYAT is seeking a Learning and Development Sr. Officer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of comprehensive training programs and onboarding processes. The Sr. Officer ensures effective integration of new employees and provides continuous development opportunities for existing staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive training programs aligned with organizational goals.
• Create training materials, manuals, and presentations for various learning initiatives.
• Utilize diverse training methodologies, techniques, and platforms, including e-learning, in-person sessions, and workshops.
• Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and areas for development.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand specific training requirements and tailor programs accordingly.
• Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees at all levels.
• Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, surveys, and performance metrics.
• Continuously improve training materials and delivery methods based on evaluation results and industry trends.
• Ensure all training programs comply with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and certifications.
• Support employee development initiatives through coaching, mentoring, and career development resources.
• Stay updated on industry trends, training technologies, and best practices in employee development.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in learning and development.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver effective training programs.
• Proficiency in creating training materials and utilizing various learning platforms.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a growing retail organization focused on continuous improvement and employee development.
