Lantern Systems Co. Ltd is seeking an MEP Project Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on the critical pre-construction phases of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects, including estimation, pre-sales support, and tendering processes.

Role Summary

The MEP Project Engineer plays a key role in securing new projects by preparing comprehensive technical and commercial proposals. This involves detailed analysis of project requirements, accurate cost estimation, and effective coordination with various stakeholders to ensure competitive and compliant bid submissions.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare technical and commercial quotations for MEP projects.
Review Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Bills of Quantities (BOQs), specifications, drawings, and tender documents.
Perform cost estimation and pricing analysis for project bids.
Coordinate effectively with suppliers and subcontractors to gather necessary information and quotes.
Prepare comprehensive bid submissions and all required tender documentation.
Support presales activities and engage in technical discussions with clients.
Collect and analyze project reports and progress updates as needed.
Coordinate with internal project teams for technical clarifications during the tendering phase.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
3–7 years of professional experience specifically in MEP Estimation, Presales, or Tendering.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

Strong knowledge of MEP systems, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation methodologies.
Demonstrated experience in supplier and subcontractor coordination.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and AutoCAD.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Experience working in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
