As an Order Taker, you will play a vital part in the guest journey, ensuring seamless and personalized service. Key Responsibilities

• Receive room service orders via telephone and accurately record transactions in the MICROS system.
• Provide information on menu selections, check with kitchen staff for details, and answer guest inquiries regarding beverages, including origin, vintage, and style of wines.
• Communicate specific guest requirements, such as allergies, dietary needs, and special requests, to the kitchen.
• Place and log call-backs for room service orders and notify guests and management of any service delivery delays.
• Process all payment methods and complete necessary closing reports, including MICROS reports.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Thank guests with genuine appreciation and communicate using clear, professional language and appropriate telephone etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support the team in achieving common goals.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Experience: No related work experience or supervisory experience is required for this role.
• License/Certification: None specified.

Operational Standards and Physical Demands

• Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management, and completing required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information while protecting company assets.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and service standards in all tasks.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
