The Role of Penetration Tester

Exequt is seeking a Penetration Tester to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves identifying, exploiting, and reporting on security vulnerabilities across diverse technical environments. The primary objective of this role is to help clients understand and mitigate their real-world security risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct penetration testing across web, API, mobile, network, infrastructure, cloud, and Active Directory environments.
• Identify and safely exploit security vulnerabilities, followed by an assessment of their business impact.
• Perform vulnerability validation, privilege escalation, and comprehensive security assessments.
• Utilize industry-standard tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Nessus, Kali Linux, and BloodHound.
• Prepare detailed technical reports outlining findings, risk ratings, supporting evidence, and remediation recommendations.
• Execute remediation retesting and communicate findings effectively to technical teams.

Required Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of hands-on experience in penetration testing.
• Strong foundational knowledge of OWASP Top 10, networking principles, Windows/Linux operating systems, Active Directory, APIs, and cloud security concepts.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Saudi Nationality is required for this position.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Relevant industry certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, OSEP, CREST, GPEN, or CEH.
• Experience within the banking, telecommunications, or government sectors, or familiarity with Saudi NCA/SAMA frameworks.
