About the Role

Albawani is seeking a Planning Engineer III to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is within the construction industry and involves critical support for project scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting functions. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with a Senior Planning Engineer to ensure project timelines are met and accurately tracked.

Role Purpose and Context

The primary purpose of this role is to contribute to the efficient execution of projects by preparing, updating, and supervising project schedules. The Planning Engineer III will coordinate with site teams, monitor progress against established plans, and generate comprehensive reports for various stakeholders. This position is essential for maintaining project control and supporting informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update project schedules in accordance with applicable procedures, utilizing Primavera P6.
• Develop and follow up on look-ahead construction plans across various disciplines.
• Monitor the performance of subcontractors and suppliers, conducting site visits to verify progress consistency with the schedule.
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for project teams and clients.
• Supervise project progress calculation using relevant software tools.
• Collect necessary data for baseline updates and extract resource usage information for manpower, commodity installation, and progress curves.
• Assist in the preparation of project baselines and time claims.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Planning Engineer III position should demonstrate a solid background in project planning within the construction sector.

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a planning engineering role.
• Proven experience within the Construction industry.
• Proficiency in using Primavera P6 for schedule development and management.
• Familiarity with software tools for project progress calculation and data analysis.

Work Environment and Location
