About the Role

We are seeking a Planning Manager to lead planning efforts for construction projects in Riyadh. This full-time role involves combining strategic oversight with hands-on project management, guiding a team of planning professionals, and contributing to planning across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive project plans that cover scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
Monitor project progress in collaboration with project teams, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Create detailed schedules and dashboards using industry-standard project management software.
Communicate project status effectively to stakeholders and facilitate collaborative problem-solving sessions.
Analyze project data to optimize resource utilization, enhance efficiency, and improve cost-effectiveness.
Mentor junior planning staff, fostering their professional development and promoting continuous improvement within the team.
Report project achievements, challenges, and provide recommendations to senior management.
Ensure all planning activities maintain compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges and maintain project continuity.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
Strong analytical skills for assessing project data and making informed decisions.
Excellent communication skills to convey complex information clearly to various stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership abilities to guide project teams towards achieving shared goals.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes and best practices.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining attention to detail and effectively prioritizing tasks.
Proven problem-solving ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh and operates within a team-oriented environment, focusing on the successful planning and execution of construction projects.
