Project Manager Role Overview

Al Majed *** is seeking a Project Manager to lead and direct the planning and implementation of all company projects and programs. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is crucial for ensuring that all projects achieve their approved objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Approve project plans, timelines, key workflows, and identify critical resources and dependencies between projects.
Manage coordination and integration between project managers and relevant departments to resolve conflicts and accelerate achievement.
Lead periodic project performance reviews, follow up on decision implementation, and remove operational obstacles.
Supervise the preparation of executive reports and performance indicators for the project portfolio, providing recommendations for decision-making on operational and technical tasks.
Apply and develop project governance frameworks and institutional portfolio management methodologies to standardize practices and enhance institutional maturity.
Evaluate and prioritize new projects and initiatives in coordination with senior leadership to align with strategic directions.
Lead the project risk and issue management system at the portfolio level, approving response and proactive treatment plans.
Evaluate and approve significant change requests in project scope, costs, and timelines, measuring their cumulative impact on project governance and portfolio.
Apply approved unified operational policies, processes, and procedures for project management, ensuring compliance.
Review and update project management forms and procedural guides to keep pace with digital transformation and automation requirements.
Lead and direct the project team, distribute tasks and responsibilities, and define individual performance objectives for subordinates.
Evaluate team performance, identify training needs, and build professional development plans to enhance human resource efficiency.
Participate in the preparation of the estimated budget for project management and monitor expenditure to ensure optimal resource utilization.
Monitor actual project costs against approved estimated budgets, analyze financial deviations, and submit control reports.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in project management.
Demonstrated ability to lead and direct complex projects and programs.
Strong understanding of project governance frameworks and portfolio management methodologies.
Proven experience in risk and issue management at a portfolio level.
Ability to manage budgets, analyze financial deviations, and provide control reports.
